I think the White House may have stumbled unto something. After living through Ari Fleischer and Scotty McClellan as White House Press Secretaries, they settled on Tony Snow who, as all who are familiar with the media are already keenly aware of, has a long track record of bald-faced lying without conscience. Well due to his cancer the deputy has had to take over for a few of these briefings.

I don’t know why, but I’m not having any issues with her lying to me. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but for some reason I just don’t care as much as I normally would when Snowjob is behind the podium. I don’t even care when she tries to be funny and steals her stuff from “Don Stewart“.

Recommendation to future Democratic President: Hire Salma Hayek as your Press Secretary. I’ve haven’t seen the White House Press Corps this subdued since they wrote Dubya a blank check on 9/12/01. All it took was a pretty face.
